The Company Section is for boys & girls in Year 7 to Year 9.

What do they do?

Company Section members take part in our Discover programme which is based on three areas:

• Community
• Recreation
• Skills

Young people are encouraged to have a say and help shape their own programme. They can get involved in anything from helping others in their local community to competing in sports competitions, trying out adventure activities or being creative – there’s something for everyone!

Summer Camp

The highlight of the year is the annual Summer Camp, where the whole section goes away to a beautiful campsite for a fun-filled week of activities and adventure.

We've been everywhere from Blackpool to Cornwall - you might have spotted our bright green minibus on our travels!

Band

5^th Gloucester has a marching band. We play at events such as the Hucclecote Remembrance Day Parade, the Company display and the Hucclecote Show.

Duke of Edinburgh's Award

Company Section boys & girls are able to take part in our successful Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme. We run groups all the way from Bronze to Gold level.

When do they meet?

Company Section meets every Thursday from 7:30pm until 9:00pm.
